Sampling continues…..I think I harvested too early
Northern Lights x Big Bud Feminised Auto Buds
I think I may have harvested these 7-10 days early, I find a lot of small flowers, I mean lots, which is evident from all the pistils, but the buds remain airy, not solid, I think from underdeveloped buds. I based the harvest on general consensus in length of time for this strain, the pistils, turning in and gold, the trichomes turning cloudy and all of that.
Of coarse now I read more that 70-80 days is typical for this strain, well these were harvested at 72 days old, then #3 at 80 days old just sampling her now. However just because #3 is 80 days old she’s not a good example of a 80 day old specimen since nutrition was stopped and flushing took place with 0 ppm, then after taking #1 & #2 I re introduced nutrients for the remaining time. I have 3 more of the same strain seeds, which will be my next grow sometime in Spring. I will watch the Bud development more closely, not so much the calendar.
Having expressed all of this, the quality of the smoke seems good, I reached out to see about testing for CBD, THC etc. not yet.
