4/2/16 roots emerging

I’ve learned not to cut the bottoms out from the net pots, it seems better to let the roots weave their way through, it makes for a more stable support for the plant later on. In a previous grow, I had cut out the bottoms of the net pots thinking it would help the roots develop, and it sure did as the little tap roots like pictured they developed quickly. However as the plant grew the root mass got so heavy it pulled the plant right on down into the root chamber, compressing the otherwise fluffy roots, it actually created a good challenge for me in that previous grow that I care not to repeat it.
